Active Auctions – Buyers

After the auction starts, the buyer will receive a notification every time a new offer or bid is made. Additionally, if any seller sends a private message to the buyer regarding the current auction, the buyer will receive a notification about that message.

The buyer will be able to include all offline offers received for the products in the IPS variants and make them visible to the participants in the auction. To add such an offline offer, the buyer must click on the green “Offline Offer” button and enter details about the offer received outside the platform.

When using this option, a window will open with a drop-down menu to select previously entered companies by the company’s employees who have participated with offline offers or would like to participate. This can be done from the Settings menu -> Offline Sellers, where there is an “Add Company” button. You can also add them from the active auction and those companies will be added after to the Offline Sellers list in Settings menu. From there, you can also edit the details of the entered companies or delete them. You also have the option to enter an offline company from this window into the active auction (please refer to the images below).

At any time after the auction has started, the buyer can cancel it for any reason. However, after the auction has started, information cannot be changed, and IPSs cannot be deleted or added.

It should be noted that when canceling an auction that is considered successful, meaning it has received more than 2 offers from different company sellers, Auxionize reduces the buyer’s annual turnover limit, regardless of whether it is canceled. This also happens when an auction has ended successfully but has not been awarded subsequently. The amount by which the annual turnover is reduced is the arithmetic mean of the submitted offers.

The buyer has the right to delete any of the submitted offers at any time. This can be done from the trash can icon located next to each offer. Additionally, the buyer can send a private message to each seller who has submitted an offer. This can be done from the icon located to the right of the company name that has submitted an offer. Besides sending private messages to each seller, the buyer has the option to write various comments – regarding IPSs, attributes, or the auction. All comments will be available in the “All Comments” section, and private messages in the “Private Messages” section.

In the upper right corner is available information on the number of bids, the number of bidders, and the number of potential participants. Potential participants can also be seen in the “Potential participants” section. Just before the number of views, the buyer can see who is in the auction at this time, and in the “History” section the buyer can see the auction’s unique views from users of the platform.

With the “Show all offers” button, the buyer can also view inactive (already improved or deleted) offers. When he deactivates this button, the buyer will see only the active offers – those that can be awarded.

In case the auction has Controlled Access while it is active, sellers can send a request to participate in it, and buyers, in turn, choose whether to approve this request or reject it, based on whether they want to receive an offer from the seller who requested the access.

Please note that invitations for participation may also be sent after an auction has started, regardless of what access the auction has.
